The Benelli M4 Super 90, designated M1014 Joint Services Combat Shotgun (JSCS) in the U.S. Military, is a 12 gauge, gas operated, semi-automatic shotgun. During testing, the prototype of the shotgun was known as the XM1014, but after it was adopted, the 'X' was dropped. It has been in service in the United States Marine Corps since 1999.
Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat
- After the last shell is fired, the shotgun's bolt erroneously does not lock back, requiring the user to manually rack the bolt to chamber a round. This error is shared with the TOZ-87.
