A recoil compensator, also known as a muzzle brake, is a barrel device that connects to the muzzle of a firearm. It vents propellant gases to reduce the amount of recoil and muzzle rise of the firearm.
Insurgency Sandstorm
The compensator is a barrel attachment set to appear in Insurgency: Sandstorm. Its role is very similar to the heavy barrel from the previous Insurgency, as both attachments reduce recoil.
