The 🌐C79 optical sight is a small arms telescopic sight of 3.4×28 magnification. It is manufactured by ELCAN Optical Technologies and can be found on military service weapons around the world. The C79 is not designed as a sniper sight per se, but is rather intended to be mounted on a variety of rifles and to be used by regular infantrymen as well as designated marksmen. The C79 has a pair of back-up iron sights on the top of the scope for close-quarters engagements.

The C79 Scope is an optical sight featured in Insurgency. It is available to the Security Forces and features greater magnification than the 2x Red Dot, but less magnification than the Mk4 Scope. The C79 Scope features range markings to help to compensate for bullet drop.
